Leaving Berkeley, vagabond outfit
Jumping on the bed at the travel lodge in san Luis obispo. Whenever we check into hotels, jane and I like to bounce on the bed, so much fun!
Oh boy, we had a tough time last night at the hotel. I booked this room online and thought I was getting a great deal at $50 for a room in downtown SLO, but neglected to notice the reason it was so cheap - only one queen bed in the room! We all tossed and turned all night, Jane slept about four hours, we have to drive through LA traffic to get to Palm Springs, it's gonna be a tough day!
Breakfast, coffee - ok, we're feeling a little better now. Let's take a walk around this charming college town before we hit the road ...
The traffic was horrible, but Jane was a trooper (she sat in the car for ten hours and never complained) and we made it- sunny Palm Springs!
